1. Free use
Simmonds is provided free of charge for personal study. You may use it on your own devices and for your own language learning. You may not redistribute the app, scrape its content, or use its outputs to train commercial language models.
2. AI tutor
James is an AI character powered by a large language model. His responses are generated, not authored, and may occasionally contain mistakes — treat them as practice prompts, not as authoritative teaching. For professional tutoring, see our "Lessons with James Simmonds" option (from €60 per hour).
3. No warranty
Simmonds is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Termination
We may suspend access if the service is abused. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes are subject to the courts of Germany.
